What better way to usher in the summer than with a car show? No matter your interest or knowledge of cars, there’s something for everyone at the Heartland Cruise Car show. Between the delicious local food vendors and beautiful arts and crafts, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy!

We take our farming seriously in Oklahoma, and nowhere is that more clear than at the Southwest Farm and Home Expo. Elk City is a concentration of Oklahoma culture and history. As such, it hosts a variety of events throughout the year to honor that history!

Quilting is as much a craft as it is an art form. The Tumbleweed Quilt Retreat brings together the quilting community for a day of crafting, tips, relaxation, and bonding. If you’re a quilter or are interested in learning about quilting, this is the place to be.

If you can’t get enough chili, then you belong here. As temperatures start to dip, Elk City’s annual chili cook-off is there to warm the community’s bones. There’s a chili for everybody: from spicy meats to scrumptious beans, the Elk City Chili Cook-off will provide.

Come celebrate our history and community at the Cheyenne-Arapaho Pioneer Day Celebration! It’s an event-packed couple of days full of entertainment and food.
